The expression on my face is pretty disgusted,impatient and tired....coz i've already hurt my back by then and feeling all sore with having to stand on my 3inches high bridal shoes * criEs*

As the gown is being made-to measure...margaret is only getting me to try out the gown on a raw footage outline with many details not in place on it yet...tats why all the pinning of laces and comfirmation of details to be made with me viewing it 1st...

HAPPILY Exhausted

I'm exhausted. Preparations for the wedding starts again after the "Qing Ming"period.....

Some things done:

>Locations for Photoshoots receed.
>Wedding Bands customised*smiles.....dream ring fulfilled*
>1st fitting for gown set for tomorrow*hope is gonna be pretty or Bee chi gonna lol @ me for that 4.4k spent on those laces,pout*
>Makeup trial set for tomorrow too.....

I'm really tired today......3hrs spent at Fairys Inc just on the Ring design(custom making things is very tiring but very fulfilling*is like choosing a man for a lifetime to spent with...you dun wanna pick & go*)....Haiz.....i tink tis is what Aunty Dora(Doctor who does my accupuncture) calls,"happy stress"!!!
Yeshhh....Kathy is happily marrying herself to John..but very shaggy leh.......
But at the same time i'm worried about my health conditon....i hurt my back 1 month back...but the worst is yet to come.Day by day is hurting me even more and at more angles.The feeling is unexplainable*tears drooling*

ok,tats it...i'm gg to bed soon.Is a long day tomorrow....to the doc,x-ray,makeup & see my gown for the 1st time....keke....exciiiiiited!!!!!

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

How much can one girl take?

When I was growing up, I always prided myself to be somewhat grown up. I liked being mature, I liked having grown up friends, and I liked being sensible and making adult choices.

Lately, after having to deal with many issues that came with my work and life in general, all I want is to be a little girl. Carefree and silly! Don't you realize that no one reprimands kids for being silly and always on a whim?

Deep inside I know I'm a free-spirited person. I want to fly to the moon or jump into someone's pool in their backyard or dance in a whole garden of flowers with daisies in my hair.

I'm expressive...I mourn when I see a little bird who has died, and cry at the silliest movies, I jump and clap my hands when I'm happy and excited, and stomp my feet when I'm mad. I can't not lose my cool especially when I see an old lady ignored when she asked for help and I am feisty.

I'm as sensitive as a shy little child and spoilt by the ones I love. I sing with my heart out all the time, and laugh like its the funniest thing you said. I'm still as cheeky and mischievous whenever

Its so lovely when you have your childlike moments. This happens when I realize I have no burden to bear, no life-changing decisions to make...I can just smell the air and dance on my tippy toes.

How lovely!*yeah...i can be drama-mama...but i'm actually a little kid at heart*

Drama Turns Love Around

It hasn’t been a happy day yesterday. At least to me it was a rather “drama” one.
But I had a good lesson well learnt today at Elijah’s 12th(Elijahs’ is an ex coll son) birthday party @ Sentosa islander club.
Timothy,Elijah’s Dad, was a born-stonched Christian and is a highly looked upon goody daddy & hubby of all WOMEN.

Tim told us, John & me,his philosophy of being a MEN as A HUSBAND & FATHER.
His 4 years ago marriage crisis sets him & Suzanne on a HUGE ROCK!!.....He started telling himself that he should start doing something to save this marriage & show responsibilities to this “FAMILY”.
He pointed out several important pointers.:-

MEN are supposed to be born slave to Woman.Not because you are paid to.But,you need to.
MEN are suppose to be bankers in the relationship.Cause woman don’t invest love to you totally and on a whole….they pays you partially.
MEN should shower more love on the wife.Cause they are meant to be your strength and they are born communicators to bridge you around(networking).
MEN should allow the wife to shop*Kathy smiles at John*.Cause they are the naturally the homemakers who does all purchases.
MEN should listen to the wife woes & response to them that they care.Cause woman can only feed comforted that way.
MEN who had highly overpowering wife, needs to show even more overpowering love to the wife in order for the wife to feel so “Loved” to submit themselves to the Man as HUSBAND.

Upon hearing what Tim told us….of cause I’ve got absolute no complains of what he has to say to John.*smiles broadly*

I started feeling upset about what I did last night.
Yes, we had a fight over some unhappy issue over the wedding dinner. I wasn’t happy over certain arrangement done in order to please other people not totally involve in the wedding in which I feel totally absurd coz is OUR WEDDING!!!!!
And in that fight, we gain nothing!!!I got my arms hurt while trying to slam the door at John & he tells me he feels so hurt by my behaviour.*arms in bandage now*

Out of the above 6 pointers,John is 90% to a perfect husband to me. He’s always telling me he’s a slave to me with no complains…*please lor…I’m also wat*.He does showers me with more love then I do*ok.,I scream at him occasionally though ..hehe…*and which boyfriend would spent $4400 on JUST a wedding gown on your not so fantastic wife-to be??John does lor….kekekekeke….
He’s always feels that shopping is never wrong as long as I can pay for what I buy without ending in debts and buying what I will use.Listen up lousy husband!!!!My boyfriends says “I can buy what I use not what I needs lor”hahhahahaa…..not all boyfriends can say that……
Ok,next,John does listen to my woes but he doesn’t gives me all goody responses though….sometimes he even lecture me….HE FAILS THIS POINT!!!!*pout*
Fine…..enough of compliments for him….he’s not gonna put in more efforts if I do.
But I goto admit,he’s a good banker!!!He manage to convince me into investing 30yrs of my love to him for now*quite a good deal isn’t it?? Or pity him??*
Anyway,we did kiss and made up for last night.

Wedding Preparation

Hey....I'm starting to prepare for the BIG DAY now....feeling a little excited over the gowns & buying of stuffs.....keke...

I realised Cantonese is not that "irritating" in customs afterall you know??Look at the following & you shall decide for yourselves....but the "VIRGIN" tingy is damn hilarious....i called Didi & read it out to him...he laugh out so loud,he's rolling....

Ok....let's start with the "ever" mafan CANTONESE!!!!

Guo Da Li ( Cantonese )

Groom side must give:

-A basket of 12 oranges

- A medium size roast pig with pig's head and legs

- A big piece of roast pork

- 2 bottles of hard liquor

-Boxes of cakes would depends on the number of boxes requested by the bride's side

- 2 sets of " Long and Feng" candles-" Pin Jin" for bride's mother ( amount depending on how much the bride's side request )

- A pair of gold bracelets or a LAI SEE for the bride to buy jewellery

- LAI SEE for " Shoe Gold" please write " shoe gold" on the back of the LAI SEE

-LAI SEE for Grandparents, Godparents and siblings

-A packet of " Fai Cai, Chinese mushroom and "Fa Gao"

Bride side to return to groom:

-Chop off the middle section of the roast pig leaving the head and the legs of the pig. Replaced the chopped off section with a pair of pants ( wrapped in plastic) for the groom. ( This will bring " Da Fu Da Gui" to the groom

- Return portion of the " Pin Jin" to the groom side

- 2 bottles of Rose Syrup or F&N orange

- Give a teapot set with red dates and lotus seeds inside the teapot ( to bring descendant luck)

- Give a packet of ginko nuts, lotus seeds, red dates and dried longans

-Pass a pair of " Feng" candles for groom to bring back

- Bride must give LAI SEE to groom's parents, siblings and nephews/niece ( for buying new clothes

Traditionally :

Day 1 - groom picks bride for tea ceremony

Night 1 - bridal night.

Day 2 - groom tells his parents bride is a virgin (after bridal night). Groom's parents buy a pig for bride's parents, acknowledging that bride is virgin.

Day 3 - groom and bride return to bride's parents' home for tea ceremony, with the pig.
