Kathy's In The Zone

Something's happening.

I'm in the ZONE.

I can't type or even think properly - with literally a FLOOD of ideas and thoughts and I'm running on adrenalin. I don't have time to digest my thoughts.

The world economy's worrying state blah blah is not affecting me at all. In fact, I'm encouraged by it. Its going to be a new world and its time to move quickly.

I have evolved again.

Response From Within My Heart.........

Let it Be
The Beatles (Lennon/McCartney)

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be

"If I could, I'll bring happiness to the world.
If I could, maybe I'll give you my world.
If I could, maybe I'll change things out there.
How can I, when I'm in despair?
Tell me why, everything turned around, only when happiness is abound?
If I could, I'd not run away.

If I could, maybe I'll return someday.
If I could, I'll buy all the things I like.
If I could, I'll keep them with me, tonight.
If I could, if I only could."

As I Aged.......

At last I can rest and start my beauty regime this month as the “ghost” goes on their annual “leave clearing” session……keke….
I was so tired doing last minute shopping for bed,Guo Da Li Stuffs,Cakes,Cocktail Dress,Stationeries…etc etc…..and finally my Honeymoon Venue and date is comfirmed too…Yipeee…
Ok…John says”I didn’t lie ok…is December I promised”…..*roll eyes*
As I grew nearer and nearer to becoming “Mrs Ong”,I have this fainting feeling of how much things I have to achieve in being ONE.
I started looking and thinking of silly things and experiences I have with “boys” since I 1st had a boyfriend @14…….*Am I too young??*

1. Celebrating silly “monthly annivesaries”
2. Having petty fights at the slightest strangest “ I-dunnu-why”
3. Hanging at void decks so that Parents dun catch me “dating”
4. Lying that I’ve been at chalets with classmates when I’m actually with “his friends and him”
5. Calling each other on the phones n pager(those are the dayszzzz)with romantic messages
6. Keeping every other birthdates, V-day,Xmas, Annivesaries cards/presents given.
7. Taking silly Neon Prints
8. Partying at Zouk with Boyfriend while still eyeing at some “hot man”…..
9. Waiting for Boyfriend @ Coffeebean At Holland-V while trying hard to be “eye candy” to others….
10.Write little notes to boyfriends telling them how much they mean to me.
11. Dressing up for occasions to be seen with him.
12. Being a Dainty princess as best as I can while with his friends…..*I wanna puke typing these* Oh my…the list goes on & on ….i’m feeling a little embarrass continuing these silly things………………*shy*
But I think I get less romantic the older I grow. And then I started changing my perspective of a BOYFRIEND in choosing and having them……
As girls, we don't have our direct pick of men but hey, I'm an old fashioned girl that will resort to fluttering my eyelashes to get their attention. But hey, despite myself, if you are too late you are TOO late. So guys, don't wait if she's really worth it. *wink*

Jokes aside, if we are to be brutally honest - that choice doesn't just affect us, it becomes our LIFE.We have to answer these questions for ourselves: "What kind of life do you want?", "How would you want to live your life?"

So, I shall present these are the pearls of wisdom I've gleaned from my much older friends since the moment I became interested in boys.

1) Looks - not important but we are naturally esthetically driven, so it definitely is somewhat a consideration in all of us. Usually what you see is what you get unless the person is hidden behind all that plastic surgery we won't really know how beautiful our kids will turn out too. And also too much plastic surgery... usually signifies a deeper rooted problem. Errr...

2) Values in life - look at how they spend their time. Do they coincide with yours?

3) Character - my most important criteria! I want a man I can admire, look up to and DEEPLY respect. Find a man with integrity and you never ever have to worry about his ability to provide for the family, infidelity, shady business situations he could get the family into, how he spends his money etc etc mostly life's most important things.

4) Spirituality - This is important to me

There are other things like getting along with his family, how he socializes, relaxes, his interests but I think Character, Values and Spirituality is it for me.

Of course over the years I admit that it has been very tempting for me to go out with a guy who is a total drop-dead gorgeous hunk, or the super smart guy with all the scholar papers and stimulates my intellectual brain, the sports man or the sexy rock star with his guitar or the know-it-all-hero businessmen whom I really connected due to my passion for business or who is famous. And of course all the flashy types who buy me presents and drive me around in fast cars too which can be fun.

At the end of the day, I think we should know ourselves best of what we want out of this life and choose magnificently. I really love and family life and I do love travel and I do love a few luxurious freedoms. I want to live life engaged and not passively.

I definitely do not want a guy with a raging temper.
I definitely do not want to constantly be on stand-by to a busy businessman and have the whole Guccis’ collection as a substitute.
I definitely want a family man.
I definitely want a shared interest in my passions.
I definitely want a partner in my life instead of "Me Tarzan, You Jane, go to the kitchen!"

Is John working towards ALL THE ABOVE??*He usually reads my blogs and sms me*kekekeke……

I'm working towards being the best woman I can ever be…….Heeeee

Simple Thoughts......

As I pen down my thoughts for today’s entry, several images of people ran thru’ my mind randomly.
Within a short 24hours, I spoke to several people with the same sad feeling.”Relationship is So Vunerable”
I’ve recently hear my sad separation stories from friends, family members and even from friend’s friend.
When I spoke to Brian,he asked me this”Does all these affect your thought about marriage??”Hmmm…..i’m glad I told him “Nope!!!”
I dun tink those that I have heard so much recently affected me in the way I felt for marriage.*phewww*Well, maybe I’m blessed for now with a nice Man with what I told anybody who used to asked me this question”Do you think he’s the one for you?”
I usually answer “I duno if he’s the ONE…But I would says he is for now and at this time of my life!!!”
Well, cum’on,wats the ONE right??i guess no one can be so SURE. I told Didi how I always feels about being on the deathbed when the ONE can tell you “I still loves you”,and I can be then sure “HE’S THE ONE”….*didi thinks I’m a rather pessimistic person in love*
Hmm……..but I’ve thought I’m blessed in having you just like you being lucky to have me *hyuk hyk hyuk*
Hmm……I suddenly lost all that I wanna write on my post coz Mummy keeps walking in to the room to get me to help her on her reports….ARGH!!!!!Ok,anyway some sad stories should be left to be forgotten….watsmore it isn’t my sad storiees….kekeke….
Since I’ve lost all my inspiration in spinning some sad post tonight,I shall post up some pics I owe from Mel’s farewell at the airport for Xuan…..
